Punte

Remote desktop for Mac on iPadControl your Mac from your iPad.

Punte puts your Mac's desktop on your iPad, with its sound, at a resolution made for the iPad's screen. Use touch, a Magic Keyboard trackpad, a mouse or the Apple Pencil. It connects straight to your Mac over your home network or your VPN, with no cloud and no account.

Trackpad, mouse and pointer lock

With a Magic Keyboard or a mouse, the pointer moves your Mac's directly. In full screen Punte locks the pointer to the picture, so it never wanders off to iPadOS.

Apple Pencil

The Pencil works as a precise pointer: tap to click exactly where it touches.

Your keyboard's characters

A hardware keyboard types the characters of your iPad's layout, dead keys included, even when the Mac uses another layout. ⌘ shortcuts go by meaning.

Retina sizes for the iPad

Switch the Mac to a resolution that fits the iPad, such as 1376 × 1032 Retina on a 13-inch iPad, for sharp, readable text. The Mac switches back when you disconnect.

Touch, two ways

Use your finger as a trackpad, or tap exactly where you want to click. Two fingers scroll and right-click; pinch to zoom.

Unlock a locked Mac

If the Mac locked itself, sign in from the iPad through macOS's own Screen Sharing, carried inside Punte's encrypted connection.
